Really happy & excited to share this book review & to blog again. I threw it the universe the other week that I will like to blog more again soon & look what happened I am blogging again! Lol, let's see how long I can keep it up thou. So I really don't know where to start with this book as it has become one of my ultimate favorite books and has open the door more for me within spirituality. I was already into it before reading this book but this book unfolded some new concepts for me I didn't think of & if you know me I always enjoy challenging my mind. I also would like to share more book reviews on here so stay peeled for that along with more subjects on spirituality. I been thinking about doing a post on my crystal and oracle card collection. My collection isn't that hefty yet but was thinking of showing it as a beginners edition before I accumulate more. But going back to the book don't read this if you do not want to see spoilers. This will be my synopsis of the book's summary along with a review, and the book's life lessons.

The book starts out sharing the story of a "boy" who goes by boy throughout the book. He does not have a given name. I honestly like this because sometimes names give us a pre-perceived notion of how to judge someone based off on their name and without one you get to see the boy just for who he is without a given name. The boy raises cattle and travels city to city with his cattle. He does not go to school as this is his career. He has a small family that he comes back to during travels.

There is a moment where he goes to a town & meets a beautiful girl. He felt like as a Shepard he was not good enough for this educated girl. So he wanted to prove his worth to her next time he is in town. He meets with a psychic who tells him he is destined to find treasure but has to give her some if he finds it. So that was his mission he set's out to find the treasure to impress the girl along with selling some cattle to that town's king to make money for his travels. This king was unique like a shape shifting genie. The boy did not trust him at first for this until he realized he was the king.

So he set's out his travel to Egypt for the treasure. On the way there he comes across a crystal shop partially why I have some in the photos where he works for a bit to gain more money for his travels to Egypt. He worked there for about a year he was sad to leave that he did not say goodbye to his boss on his last day & just left. He helped the old man so much by coming up with new selling points to help make the shop more profitable, he even hired more workers around the time the boy left. He had asked the old man to travel with him as he always wanted to see Egypt as well but he did not want to come. He said he rather keep that a dream then go there and not have a dream anymore. Sad but some people can only live for there dreams and not fulfill them unlike the boy who is courageous he is setting out to pursue his dreams and I think this is a strong message the book holds on reaching out to your goals in the most ultimate form do not hold back like the old man.

Before the boy is about to leave he meets an Englishman who always has his book closed in his nose who happened to be traveling to Egypt as well. He was on a mission to meet the Alchemist. So they set out to travel with the rest of the traveling group. It was not safe in Egypt at the time as a war was upon them. So they had to rest in a town for sometime until leaving out for Egypt. There, the boy meet's a girl. He is star struck and falls in love instantly he even bluntly tells the girl this and tell's her if he survives his travels he will come back & wed her. She reciprocated these emotions as well it's crazy how he set sail on this mission to impress a girl with his treasures but in the end met one of his treasures, someone new. Another life lesson, you never know what will happen for you when you go on new paths in life. The universe always opens doors for you if you're willing to receive.

The boy happens to meet the Alchemist in that town who said he will travel to Egypt with him. He even claimed the boy to be an Alchemist as well. The boy stunned cause he thought his friend was when he was not after all. The alchemist said his friend didn't have it in him to be the alchemist. His friend was too caught up in his studies not living in the moments and having the experiences to be an alchemist. It's kinda like school you can get a degree in something but if you don't have experience working or interning your knowledge can only get you so far. So they set out on there trip, they come across two arabs who say they cannot travel across due to the war. The Alchemist made a deal saying if the boy can fly they shall let them pass. The arbs laughed and let them stay in their town for one night before the boy attempted to fly. The boy was mad at the alchemist for setting him up and he tried to learn how to fly. Crazy because he did fly within the moment he had. He prayed to the universe for strength from the wind, sun, and birds to help him fly. Some communicated back they could not help him but within the strength of all elements combined they were able to get him to fly. This lesson is mindset you can set your mind to do anything you set out to do, for him it was flying in the moment. This is a prime example of how he's an alchemist. Later on the alchemist leaves the boy to finish out his travels on him own as it has come to his solo mission, there the boy comes across ruins then finds some dunes too he eventually finds his treasure in one of the dunes. He was able to go back to see the alchemist, wed the girl, and have his treasure. He started a new life with her and did not return home as he had a new one as the alchemist no longer as the "boy."

Lessons from this book is mindset is everything if you set out to do something you need to be strong minded to do so and strong willed; unlike the shop keeper or the Englishman. You also need to be brave, courage, curious, take risks, and of course be patient. The boy did not finds treasure over night and like most things in life it takes time to accmplish anythings. Divine timing has no timing like us in the 3d so things take time to play out. Also venture out to new paths don't stay complacent. The boy moved for travel and ended up going through an awakening. The educated girl was his karma to grow to his until soulmate or twin flame or past life relationship with the new girl. They probably shared a past life connection as there love was instinct. This is how most past life connections work the love is instant since y'all know another from another lifetime already. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and how it pushes you to think spiritually. I hope you enjoyed and are enlighted by my findings and hope you pick up this book to read for yourself as well. The meanings are endless in the book despite you reading what I had shared here you could learn something new from the book that I did not share and that my friend is your ultimate lesson for you to pursue.
