Writer's picture: Alina LongAlina Long

Hi y'all! Long time no see, I had put out the intention to blog more & after the last couple of posts I did I realized it was not the right time due to circumstances at home. I been taking care of my mom as she recovers from her broken foot & trying to blog again while caring for her was a lot so I decided not to move froward with it but now that she is doing a lot better I would like to blog again here & there as there are other projects I am taking on as well. I hope you can follow me on the other journeys I am pursuing as well. I learned a lot over the these last years & I thought what better way then to show some gratitude with a 25 things I learned list some serious, some not so much. I am excited for what 25 has in store for me & If you have learned some similar lessons I have feel free to let me know! I love hearing from y'all or if there are anythings you learned from reading this feel free to let me know that as well, and how you may incorporate that into your own life. I also have never made myself a birthday cake before so I decided to this year as a way to practice self love plus baking is one of my passions and food made from love tastes much better then store bought. I made myself a vegan açaí cheesecake I got the recipe from Gaz Oakly aka the Avantegardevegan on Youtube! You should check him out I love his recipes & what he stands for. I made a mistake of not putting enough açaí in but we live & learn! I will add more when I make this again, happy 2020 everyone, and my fellow Capricorns may this be our season, and happy early birthday to the Aquarian's out there your season is next! Link to Gaz recipe & video tutorial is below

1. Do not feel bad if you need to switch your counselor. I had one I did not 100% enjoyed working with in 2018 & I always felt bad for wanting to switch and work with someone else. I have never experienced this before so I didn't know how to handle it well but I was wasting my own time by holding back and now I know to never do that again and to work with someone who can foster my growth. I am happy that after this experience I have been working with a counselor I work much better with now.
